Heffernan Button Voss Architects has completed the exam Bay House in Tasmania, Australia. This project involves a complete reorganization of the existing dwelling and the addition of new guest room, porch, yard and garage. Located on the Bay overlooking the D’Entrecasteaux Channel Trial, which ‘as it now called Channel Room’ is like an abstraction from the cinematographer’s camera, where the apertures have been adjusted to the subject, see, and light. This new architecture depart from the existing holes in the masonry wall characters’ by reaching the duality becomes extroverted and open to the landscape, but a solid, strong and sturdy. An inherent idea is the creation of sustainable living patterns and circulation, as a metaphor for the landscape itself.
